Bagett-Griffith & Blackman, Incorporated was founded in 1967 in John Day, Oregon by Duane I. Griffith and Robert D. Bagett. Duane Griffith moved to La Grande in 1969 and opened a second office that is currently operating at 2006 Adams Avenue. Bagett-Griffith purchased Jack Burris Land Surveying in Enterprise, Oregon in 1988, which we operate from our La Grande Office.

The La Grande office consists of three very experienced full time employees, as does the office in John Day. Only one employee has less than five years of experience with our firm.

Our firm has completed hundreds of property line surveys in Union, Grant and Wallowa Counties. Bagett-Griffith & Blackman has survey knowledge of Union, Grant and Wallowa County unsurpassed by any other firms operating in the State.

We have also completed many surveys for construction, including the layout of the La Grande Armory Conference Center, the new River Bend boot camp, the new Safeway building in La Grande, as well as laying out the Safeway buildings in Pendleton, Redmond, Baker City. We also were the survey team that did all of the field work for the new Hermiston, Pendleton and Ontario Wal-Mart Stores. Our firm were the surveyors in charge of staking the Cove Avenue road project for the City of La Grande
